Terms and conditions

1.  By completing the application to be a member of Ecotourism NZ operators or industry participants need to agree with Ecotourism NZ principles and that the operator is involved in:

• the natural environment,
• a focus on education and interpretation of the natural and/or cultural environment and
• promoting and delivering sustainable practises

2. Ecotourism NZ reserves the right to edit any content and to use any photographs and content supplied on the web site for educational and promotion of Ecotourism in New Zealand

3.  Ecotourism NZ has the right to refuse operators to list on the web site if they do not fulfil ecotourism principles and values.  Ecotourism NZ is not bound to give any reason for such decisions.

4. All directly listings must be pre-paid in full for one year for $125 inc GST. Payment is non-refundable in the case of cancellation. A GST receipt will be issued on receipt of payment.

5. Every effort will be made to ensure directory listings are published within three days of receipt of payment. Ecotourism NZ accepts no liability for any loss occasioned by omission, error or misplacement of listings or photographs.

What does your listing fee pay for?

Ecotourism NZ is a non-profit project managed by Tai Poutini Polytechnic.  Ecotourism NZ was developed to assist operators with their businesses through initially the annual Ecotourism NZ conference as well as the Ecotourism NZ web site.  Over the last 2 years operators have indicated that they are interested in being part of a national directory of ecotourism operators.

The annual fee of $125 will assist Ecotourism NZ towards:

• web site hosting fees
• web site maintenance and management fees
• software licensing fees
• web site administration
• web site marketing activity
