Environmental Interpretation
Why don't kiwis fly? What is so different about our frogs? This course is designed for people working in the New Zealand tourism and outdoor recreation industry who are required to explain New Zealand’s unique features such as flora and fauna . This course looks at the special characteristics of NZ flora and fauna and why they are so different from other species in other places.
We run these courses in a number of locations and will also run them on demand where possible

Environmental interpretation short courses
Environmental Interpretation short courses are run annually over a 5 or 6 days in various locations on the West Coast. They cover interpretation, special characteristics of New Zealand's flora and fauna and earth science. Students will learn how to interpret the environment around them in a way that provokes and informs their clients.
Detalied information about New Zealand's natural environment is also covered. The short course will suit people working in the Ecotourism industry, wanting to work in the Ecotourism industry or just have an interest in the environment.
